The catalog is a curated reference, not a census of every printer sold. Counts describe the profiles collected so far and change as research continues. Fields the sources do not establish stay empty, so each chart states how many profiles it covers. Specifications are manufacturer claims, not test results, and no figure here reflects sales or market share.
Printers by process family
All 666 profiles, grouped into the seven ISO/ASTM 52900 families.
| Process family | Printers |
|---|---|
| Material extrusion | 336 |
| Vat photopolymerization | 173 |

| Material jetting | 18 |
| Directed energy deposition | 18 |
| Other or unclassified | 16 |
| Binder jetting | 7 |
| Sheet lamination | 2 |
Printers by category
Categories overlap: a desktop resin printer counts under both Desktop and Resin.
Printers by market grouping
Editorial grouping by size, price class and intended users.
| Grouping | Printers |
