Key differences

  • Creality K1 Max has the larger nominal build envelope: 300 × 300 × 300 mm, about 61% more box volume than Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (256 × 256 × 256 mm).
  • Both are enclosed designs.
  • Both list a maximum nozzle temperature of 300 °C.
  • Creality K1 Max is the newer model (2023, against 2022).
  • Bambu Lab X1 Carbon is listed as a historical model; Creality K1 Max is not marked historical.
  • Material lists differ: Creality K1 Max documentation also names Nylon / polyamide; Bambu Lab X1 Carbon documentation also names ASA. A material missing from a list means it isn't documented there, not that it can't print.
  • Detailed specifications that differ: machine dimensions (435 × 462 × 526 mm vs 389 × 389 × 457 mm); display (4.3-inch color touchscreen vs 5-inch 1280 × 720 touchscreen); monitoring camera (Included vs 1920 × 1080).
  • Only the Creality K1 Max profile documents extruder (Dual-gear direct drive), bed max (100 °C), print speed max (600 mm/s), acceleration max (20000 mm/s²), build surface (Flexible PEI plate).
  • Only the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon profile documents chassis (Steel), shell (Aluminum and glass), hotend (All-metal), extruder gear material (Hardened steel), nozzle diameter (0.4 mm) and 13 more fields.

Before you choose

Published specifications don't settle print quality, reliability or noise. Compare the exact configuration, bundled accessories, regional price and support with each manufacturer, and check that the materials you need are supported on the configuration you'd buy.

Creality K1 Max

Enclosed CoreXY printer with a 300 mm cubic volume, 300 °C hotend, AI camera and LiDAR leveling.

The manufacturer comparison separates nozzle construction, extrusion hardware and included cameras across K1, K1 Max and K1C. A shared speed headline does not make their hardware identical.

Bambu Lab X1 Carbon

Enclosed X1-series filament printer with a 300°C hotend.

The technical sheet specifies hardened-steel extrusion gears and nozzle, an activated-carbon filter, lidar and a chamber camera. Filament odometry is an AMS-dependent option. The quoted 32 mm³/s hotend flow was measured using Bambu ABS at 280 °C on a 150 × 150 mm single-wall model; it is not a general flow guarantee for every filament.
