Key differences

  • Bambu Lab H2D has the larger nominal build envelope: 325 × 320 × 325 mm, about 101% more box volume than Bambu Lab X1 Carbon (256 × 256 × 256 mm).
  • Both are enclosed designs.
  • Bambu Lab H2D reaches the hotter nozzle: 350 °C against 300 °C.
  • Bambu Lab H2D is the newer model (2025, against 2022).
  • Bambu Lab X1 Carbon is listed as a historical model; Bambu Lab H2D is not marked historical.
  • Detailed specifications that differ: machine dimensions (389 × 389 × 457 mm vs 492 × 514 × 626 mm); machine weight (14.13 kg vs 31 kg).
  • Only the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon profile documents chassis (Steel), shell (Aluminum and glass), hotend (All-metal), optional nozzle diameters (0.2, 0.6, 0.8 mm), bed temperature limit (110 °C at 220 V; 120 °C at 110 V) and 11 more fields.
  • Only the Bambu Lab H2D profile documents single nozzle build (325 × 320 × 325 mm), dual-nozzle build envelope (300 × 320 × 325 mm), combined nozzle coverage (350, 320, 325 mm), minimum access dimensions (700 × 700 × 1100 mm).

Bambu Lab X1 Carbon

Enclosed X1-series filament printer with a 300°C hotend.

The technical sheet specifies hardened-steel extrusion gears and nozzle, an activated-carbon filter, lidar and a chamber camera. Filament odometry is an AMS-dependent option. The quoted 32 mm³/s hotend flow was measured using Bambu ABS at 280 °C on a 150 × 150 mm single-wall model; it is not a general flow guarantee for every filament.

Bambu Lab H2D

Dual-nozzle filament printer with active chamber heating.

The total reachable area is wider than the shared dual-nozzle envelope. The manufacturer also specifies a 700 × 700 × 1100 mm working space, which is larger than the chassis dimensions.
