Original hardware and material handling
The technical sheet specifies hardened-steel extrusion gears and nozzle, an activated-carbon filter, lidar and a chamber camera. Filament odometry is an AMS-dependent option. The quoted 32 mm³/s hotend flow was measured using Bambu ABS at 280 °C on a 150 × 150 mm single-wall model; it is not a general flow guarantee for every filament.
Lifecycle and support
Bambu states that X1-series manufacture and active sales ended on March 31, 2026. The support notice gives separate dates for feature/bug-fix updates, security patches, and spare parts/service.
Remaining stock
The notice says some authorized distributors may retain new units. It also cautions that individual spare parts can sell out before the overall support period ends. These dates are the manufacturer’s published plan, not a stock guarantee.
Introduced in 2022.
X1-series Kickstarter campaign began May 2022; this year denotes the crowdfunding introduction.

Manufacturing and active sales ended March 31, 2026. Advertised build volume is 256 mm cubed; the default Bambu Studio height is 250 mm.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
