What happened

An UltiMaker post published April 13, with an April 14 announcement dateline, describes an exclusive North and South American distribution agreement with Tectonic-3D. The partnership expands access to specialized polymer filaments.

The portfolio includes reinforced, bio-based, flame-retardant and flexible materials. UltiMaker says the companies already support ten dedicated Marketplace print profiles for the S and Factor series.

Distribution coverage and printer compatibility are separate questions. Access to the broader filament portfolio does not mean every listed high-temperature polymer can be processed on every UltiMaker printer; users need the matching material, hardware and profile combination.
