What happened

Prusa introduced Prusament Resin Model+ in May 2026 as a reformulation of its modeling resin. The company describes improved impact resistance and reduced pigment sedimentation.

The release links the update to earlier variation in raw-material reactivity and exposure requirements. Prusa tested the formulation on its SL1S SPEED printer, so those settings should be understood in that hardware context.

The revised formulation is still a photopolymer resin requiring appropriate handling and post-processing. The article’s health-profile comparison does not mean uncured resin is harmless.
