Qidi details the Plus 5’s larger build area and revised chamber heating
The company’s September comparison explains the changes from Plus 4, including leveling, filtration and connectivity.

What happened
Qidi’s September update describes Plus 5 as the successor to Plus 4, following an August launch. Its specified build volume grows to 320 × 320 × 300 mm, about 18% larger than the previous model.
The machine adds a 550 W chamber heater, load-cell leveling and an H12 HEPA filtration stage. The chamber temperature ceiling remains 65°C, so the higher heater rating should not be confused with a hotter maximum environment.
Qidi also lists a smaller touchscreen and notes that filament-tangle detection requires a Qidi Box. These details make the update more useful than a simple upgrade list: the changes affect different workflows in different ways.
