What happened

Flashforge introduced the CJ270 in a September product announcement, positioning it for studios, classrooms and small creative businesses. The system uses MJP technology rather than switching colored filament through an FDM nozzle.

The company specifies a 180 × 120 × 100 mm build volume, CMYK materials plus white and transparent options, and water-soluble support. Its proposed uses include custom figures, collectibles and other small models where appearance matters.

Color becomes part of the digital preparation and printing process, reducing the need to paint every variation afterward. The manufacturer’s color-count and fine-layer claims are specifications, not results from an independent evaluation.
