What happened

Flashforge’s April announcement positions WJ51C for jewelry designers and smaller workshops that need wax patterns without a large production installation. The printer produces patterns for subsequent casting, rather than finished metal jewelry.

The manufacturer lists a compact enclosure and layers down to 15 microns. It also describes separately packaged structural and support wax blocks, allowing users to load material in smaller quantities.

Single- and dual-channel modes provide different production options. Flashforge’s speed and utilization figures are manufacturer claims; the useful comparison for a studio includes the complete sequence from printed pattern through support removal and casting.
