Eplus3D introduces a three-meter metal powder-bed platform
The EP-M3050 extends large-format metal printing with a configurable multi-laser architecture.

What happened
Eplus3D introduced EP-M3050 in April for very large metal components. The platform has a nominal 3,050 × 3,050 mm build area, moving powder-bed manufacturing into a scale usually associated with extensive fabrication and joining.
The announcement describes a 100-laser configuration, expansion options up to 256 lasers and customizable build height. These are configuration-dependent capabilities, rather than a statement that every installation includes the largest possible arrangement.
Printing a larger integrated part can reduce the number of sections that need joining. It also raises demands on powder handling, process consistency and finishing. The machine’s dimensions therefore describe an opportunity, not proof that any large geometry can be produced economically.
