What happened

Rambam Health Care Campus, EOS and PTC announced plans for a Digital Implant Engineering Center in Haifa. Engineers and physicians will work together on customized implants and medical devices.

The proposed workflow combines PTC Creo design tools with EOS metal printing. EOS identifies its M 290-2 as the manufacturing platform supporting the center.

The announcement emphasizes a connected process covering design, validation, manufacturing and quality. It describes an initiative to establish capabilities, not blanket regulatory clearance for every implant the center might develop.
