What happened

AM I Navigator and Leading Minds announced the Additive Manufacturing Alliance at AMS 2026. The umbrella organization aims to connect awareness of additive manufacturing with practical adoption support.

Initial joint work focuses on knowledge exchange, industry communication and guidance for companies industrializing their processes. The existing initiatives will continue independent activities where appropriate.

The announcement also describes maturity-assessment resources intended to help manufacturers identify gaps in their capabilities. This is a coordination effort across industry organizations, rather than a merger of printer manufacturers.
