EOS highlights robotic grippers and adaptive production at Hannover
The company’s 2026 exhibition preview connected printed tools with automated manufacturing.

What happened
EOS outlined tooling and robotics applications ahead of Hannover Messe 2026. Its examples included a printed robotic gripper, fiber-forming tools and vibratory feeders used to handle small components.
A separate Siemens demonstration linked customizable shoe midsoles with an adaptive production concept using the EOS P3 NEXT. The proposed workflow connected digital design with orchestration of manufacturing steps.
The examples show how additive manufacturing can support production equipment as well as finished products. Cost and weight savings in the release refer to particular examples and should not be generalized to every factory.
