What happened

Raise3D unveiled the B520 sandblaster at RAPID+TCT in April, alongside additions to its SLS powder portfolio. The system is intended to automate work that would otherwise require manual blasting.

A removable basket supports handling up to 30 liters per cycle, according to the company. Programmable parameters and controlled media flow are designed to make finishing more repeatable, while an optional polishing module adds another processing step.

The same announcement introduced PA Next and glass-bead-reinforced PA Next GB. Together, the equipment and materials broaden Raise3D’s SLS offering; they do not remove the need to establish suitable finishing parameters for each part and powder.
