Maker Faire Bay Area 2027

· Vallejo, CA, United States

The original Maker Faire, a three-day festival of making on Mare Island where 3D printing sits beside robotics and electronics.

About the event

Maker Faire Bay Area is the flagship event of Make: Community, the publisher of Make: magazine. After marking 20 years in 2026, it returns to Mare Island in Vallejo for three days, September 24 to 26, 2027.

The faire mixes robots, rockets, art cars, electronics, drones and handmade work. The organizer lists 3D printing among its featured themes, together with microcontrollers such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi and laser cutting.

It is a broad maker event rather than a 3D printing show, but it is one of the best places to see how hobbyists and schools put printers to work.
