A new one-day summit held alongside Formnext on additive manufacturing for defense and security in the EU and NATO.
About the event
The Formnext Defence Summit is a new event format that makes its debut on 17 November 2026 alongside Formnext in Frankfurt. Mesago developed it in close cooperation with the Additive Manufacturing Defence Network (AMDefNet), a European association focused on AM in the defense and security sectors.
The organizers describe a high-level audience of military leaders, government and policy decision-makers, defense OEMs and system integrators, and AM technology providers. The agenda centers on resilient supply chains, faster response times and decentralized, demand-driven production for EU and NATO member states.
It is relevant if you follow how qualification, spare-parts production and field-deployable printing are being adopted by defense organizations in Europe.
