Biofabrication 2026

· Monterrey, Mexico

The annual research conference of the International Society for Biofabrication, held at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.

About the event

Biofabrication 2026 is the yearly scientific meeting of the International Society for Biofabrication (ISBF). This edition is hosted on the central campus of Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, by professors Mario Moisés Álvarez, Grissel Trujillo de Santiago and Yu Shrike Zhang.

The program covers biomaterials and bioinks, bioprinting and other biofabrication methods, and their uses in medicine, food, sustainability and advanced materials. It is a research conference rather than a trade show, so expect plenary lectures, oral and poster sessions, and workshops aimed at academic and industrial researchers.

For readers following 3D printing, it is a place to hear current academic work on printing cells, bioinks and tissue scaffolds, well before most of it reaches commercial bioprinters.
