Materials and intended workflow
J850 Prime combines seven materials with full-color PolyJet capabilities. Seven-material quality/mix modes differ from three-material High Speed and single-material Super High Speed modes.
Geometry and print modes
The printer has a 490 × 390 × 200 mm envelope and a separate material cabinet. Layers are 14 µm in High Quality, 27 µm in High Mix or High Speed, and 55 µm in Super High Speed. Typical rigid-part accuracy is specified separately from these layer increments.

Model-specific embedded specifications in the current official Stratasys catalog were reviewed on 2026-10-16. Optional accessories, material-dependent layer settings and print-mode limits are identified separately.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
