Automated resin handling
The Form 2 announcement identifies automatic resin dispensing and a heated tank as key changes. These features support longer builds and manage resin conditions during printing.
Generation changes
Form 2 revised the peel mechanism as well as the resin system. Its archived introduction is useful for the original hardware design, but does not establish current consumable or service availability.
Introduced in 2015.
Official launch blog is dated September 20, 2015; this identifies the announcement year, not an independently established first-shipment date.

Current official support documentation says Form 2 printers are no longer available for purchase. Support and material availability have separate policies; historical resin compatibility is not a promise of present stock.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
