Hardware revision
Form 1+ revised the laser, galvanometer control and mechanical components of Form 1. The announcement reports faster printing, but does not establish a single production rate for all resins and geometries.
Managing resins and supports
The redesigned tank and lid were intended to make multiple-resin storage easier. PreForm 1.5, released alongside the printer, introduced manual support controls. This is historical software context, not a claim that the original release is suitable for current computers.
Introduced in 2014.
Announced June 10, 2014; no exact first-shipment date was established in this audit.

Formlabs' March 15, 2017 farewell states the printer was sold out and that the company was shifting focus to Form 2. The historical materials category does not imply consumables remain available today.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
