What happened

Stratasys announced a qualification program for SAF PA12 using the NCAMP materials process. Participants include Boeing, GA-ASI, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and several manufacturing service providers.

The effort extends the company’s Advanced Industrial Solution framework to selective absorption fusion. It emphasizes consistency, traceability and validated data for production applications on the H350 platform.

The February announcement marks the start of qualification, not universal aerospace approval. The program aims to reduce duplicated material-validation work as manufacturers consider additive production for demanding parts.
