Snapmaker publishes U1 changes to Klipper, Moonraker and Fluidd
Public repositories expose the company’s modifications to three foundations of its printer-control stack.

What happened
Snapmaker published its U1 modifications to Klipper, Moonraker and Fluidd in March. The repositories cover changes made to these existing open-source projects for the printer’s multi-toolhead architecture.
The work includes tool switching, calibration, material handling and recovery functions, alongside connectivity and interface changes. Developers can inspect the implementation and build on the published code under the relevant project licenses.
The release does not mean every U1 component is open source. Snapmaker distinguishes these repositories from independently developed modules elsewhere in the system. That scope matters to owners evaluating customization, maintenance and the ability to understand how their printer operates.
