What happened

Lithoz reported that KLS Martin now offers patient-specific implants made from LithaBone TCP through its IPS Gate platform. The material is a tricalcium-phosphate ceramic used for bone-replacement applications.

The September release said KLS Martin was approaching 500 delivered ceramic implants and expected to reach that milestone by the end of the third quarter. That statement was a forecast at publication, not a confirmed end-of-quarter total.

The development links ceramic printing with a surgeon-facing planning and delivery service. Clinical suitability remains tied to the specified device, patient and treatment workflow.
