What happened

Formlabs’ October announcement introduces Nylon 11 Pro Powder for parts that bend or absorb impact. Suggested uses include clips, living hinges, tooling and thin-walled enclosures.

The source lists availability for Fuse 1+ 30W, with Fuse X1 support planned for the first quarter of 2027. It also specifies nitrogen and a textured recoater roller, making hardware preparation part of the material change.

The announcement includes Rivian examples involving harness clips and robot tooling. These are supplier-reported applications, not an independent durability study of every printed part.
