What happened

3D Systems’ May 7 announcement says the Cadillac Formula 1 Team deployed seven SLA systems ahead of its 2026 racing debut. Wind-tunnel testing was a central use case.

The supplier describes a combined workflow of large-format machines, software, engineering support and Accura materials. The goal was rapid production of test geometry under tight development deadlines.

This is a supplier account of how the team prepared and developed parts. It does not attribute race performance to printing alone or claim that the full car is printed.
