About the event
RAPID + TCT is SME's annual additive manufacturing exhibition and conference, run with the TCT media group. The 2027 edition is in Detroit at Huntington Place, with the conference running April 12 to 15 and exhibits open April 13 to 15.
The conference has more than 160 technical presentations, and the show floor includes curated showcases for aerospace and defense suppliers, healthcare applications, startups and local service providers. An AeroDef Manufacturing exhibit area adds aerospace and defense production content.
With SME citing more than 450 solution providers at the 2026 edition, it is a practical place in North America to compare industrial systems, materials and software.
