IDS 2027 (International Dental Show)

· Cologne, Germany

The biennial international dental trade fair in Cologne; trade coverage named 3D printing a key trend at the 2025 show.

About the event

IDS is the leading international dental trade fair, held every two years in Cologne. It is organized by GFDI, the commercial arm of the German dental manufacturers' association VDDI, and staged by Koelnmesse. The 42nd edition occupies seven halls from March 16 to 20, 2027.

Dental technology of every kind is on show, and 3D printing has become a visible part of it. LMT Magazine listed 3D printing among the key trends at IDS 2025 and singled out a hybrid milling-and-printing prototype and a preview of non-linear printing that reduces supports.

If you work with dental printers or resins, IDS is the largest single gathering of dental manufacturers, so it is a key date for seeing new equipment and materials.
