About the event
MD&M West is Informa Markets' manufacturing event in Anaheim, formerly known as Informa Markets Engineering West. It combines five sectors under one roof: MedTech, Automation, Design & Manufacturing, Plastics and Packaging.
The organizer names 3D printing in two of those sectors: design and engineering innovation alongside CAD/CAM and test equipment, and biocompatible polymers alongside injection molding. That makes it a practical place to compare printing with conventional processes for medical parts.
It is not a dedicated AM show, so expect printing to appear as one manufacturing option among several rather than the main theme.
