About the event
Formnext Asia Shenzhen is the Chinese member of the Formnext family, published by Messe Frankfurt. The 2027 edition runs September 1 to 3 at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center.
It sits next to Asiamold Select, which covers injection molding, die casting, stamping and the mold supply chain, so a lot of the program looks at printing for tooling and mold making. Forums in the most recent edition covered thermal management and liquid cooling, robotics, lasers and footwear.
Attendance grew sharply in 2026, according to the organizer, with a large rise in international visitors.
