Material handling and capacity

F870 combines a one-meter-wide heated chamber with integrated material drying. Four 4100 cm³ spools and automatic changeover support longer jobs; the manufacturer describes consumable-platform sharing with F3300.

Software and operating conditions

The 1171 mm diagonal is not the X dimension. Published tolerance figures are qualified by material and geometry and describe a 95% dimensional-yield expectation, rather than an unconditional guarantee for every feature.

Model-specific embedded specifications in the current official Stratasys catalog were reviewed on 2026-10-16. Optional accessories, material-dependent layer settings and print-mode limits are identified separately. Stratasys FDM is grouped under FFF for filtering.

A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
