Material handling and capacity
F170 has a 254 mm cube and two front-loading material bays, one for model and one for support. Its compact F123 platform targets functional parts and prototypes with a smaller envelope than F370.
Software and operating conditions
The catalog lists ASA, TPU 92A, ABS-CF10 and PLA as material examples. GrabCAD Print and the separately configured Pro workflow prepare builds; material-specific print settings and support choices must match the selected thermoplastic.

Model-specific embedded specifications in the current official Stratasys catalog were reviewed on 2026-10-16. Optional accessories, material-dependent layer settings and print-mode limits are identified separately. Stratasys FDM is grouped under FFF for filtering.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
