Dual-laser family member

The 500D uses two 500 W lasers within the RenAM 500 platform. Both can address the full powder bed. The common gas circuit has thermal control and dual filters that can be exchanged individually during a process.

Configuration and measurement boundaries

Powder handling can be configured for recirculation or Flex material changes. TEMPUS/Ultra features are separate from the base dual-laser identification. The 1 nm figure describes the Z encoder’s sensing resolution; it is not a printed-layer thickness or finished-part accuracy.

Read this with the specifications

Current RenAM 500 family documentation identifies the D configuration as two 500 W lasers. Powder-management and Ultra-related options are configuration-dependent. The 1 nm value is Z-encoder resolution, not printed-part accuracy.

A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
