What changes in XL+
The XL+ adds electronic tool alignment, revised cooling, GT1.5 belts and nozzle wiping. Separate tools retain their own filament and nozzle, allowing different materials or nozzle sizes in one job.
Enclosure and future tools
The base machine is open-frame. The optional Enclosure XL+ is rated to 50°C; the separate heater for 60°C and silicone toolhead remain announced additions on the reviewed page.
Build-plate specification discrepancy
The XL+ page lists a 120°C bed limit while the L+ comparison table lists 115°C for XL+. That inconsistent limit is not added as a verified numeric specification.

A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
