Dental configuration
The Form 3B introduction distinguishes the dental-focused model and its material workflows from the general-purpose Form 3. Material compatibility must be checked for the exact resin and printer generation.
An end-to-end workflow
The manufacturer describes preparation in PreForm, monitoring in Dashboard, and washing and curing with separate equipment. Producing a part with a biocompatible material requires the applicable material instructions, not simply owning a B-series printer.
Introduced in 2019.
Announced November 12, 2019; no separate first-shipment date is established here.
Family: Form resin · medical and dental · Historical model
What changed
- Created a dedicated dental platform with validated indications and access to biocompatible material settings.

Historical variant; current sales availability is not established. The predecessor link denotes the medical/dental branch from Form 3 rather than replacement of all Form 3 printers. Some pre-announcement Form 3 units retained biocompatible settings. Build height is the current support figure; above 185 mm print removal requires removing the tank.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
