Original model and later revisions
The manufacturer’s comparison describes CR-10 as the original platform, followed by V2 and V3 revisions. It attributes frame bracing, revised power/electronics and additional features to V2, so those upgrades should not be assumed on an original CR-10.
Historical source limits
The later V3 adopts further extrusion and firmware changes. The reviewed historical narrative is useful for distinguishing generations, but it does not establish a complete original-machine technical specification or current parts availability.

Unresolved: Creality's company timeline says released in 2016, while its 2023 retrospective says brought to market in 2017.

Identity and family verified; the conflicting introduction year and unverified base-model specifications are left blank.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
