Two capability packages
M2 Series 5 is offered in Standard and Production packages, both with 400 W or 1000 W laser configurations. The Production package adds process-monitoring and productivity tools; these should not be assumed to be included with every Standard installation.
Material parameters depend on configuration
The official page publishes a broad alloy portfolio, including steels, aluminum, nickel, titanium and tantalum. Some entries are explicitly tied to laser power, including CuNi2SiCr at 1 kW, so a listed alloy is not evidence that every purchased configuration has its qualified parameter set.
