Vortek material changes

Vortek exchanges six hotends and stores their previous filament assignments. The manufacturer describes up to seven material paths without nozzle purge-cleaning, with additional AMS hardware extending filament selection. The amount of purging depends on how materials are assigned.

Build space and temperature

The single-nozzle envelope and dual-nozzle overlap are different. The larger combined coverage describes the area reachable by the two nozzles together; it should not be treated as the space available to both nozzles for every part. The chamber has active heating.

Read this with the specifications

Dimensions use the introduction's single-nozzle specification. Dual-nozzle overlap is 300 × 320 × 325 mm. Check current manual for mode restrictions.

A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
