Portable wire DED cell

The AMRC-P combines a fiber-laser deposition head with a multi-axis robot and an inerted portable cell. ADDiTEC lists iron, nickel, titanium, copper and aluminum alloy feedstocks; the quoted 4 kg/h maximum specifically describes titanium.

Motion and atmosphere

The datasheet specifies a 5.9 ft cube as the nominal build volume and an approximately 7.5 × 9 × 10.6 ft cell. A vacuum-assisted inert environment and local shielding serve different roles; the chamber oxygen specification should not be read as the oxygen level at every point in the melt pool.

Launch-year capabilities are documented in the announcement and manufacturer sheet. Configuration and present ordering status need confirmation.

A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
