What happened

Raise3D released ideaMaker 5.5.3 on October 21. Its FFF changes include slicing-speed optimizations, faster G-code previews and a revised detour algorithm that favors travel along inner walls.

For SLS, users can generate a part box around one or more models and include it in the print report. The update also adds basic remote functions for discovering printers and uploading jobs to RMS220.

The release notes report substantial speed improvements on selected workloads, but those figures are not a guarantee for every model or computer. Large external SLS job previews also receive memory-handling changes intended to make them easier to open on constrained systems.
