What happened

Elegoo’s October 30 post says the M1 Ultra has been available since October 29, after an October 22 release that pre-announced the date without pricing. Retail pricing is US $1,699, €1,699 and £1,399; early-bird pricing of US $1,599, €1,599 and £1,319 runs from October 29 to November 12.

The handheld unit combines blue-laser and infrared structured-light capture and carries a 3-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi 6 for wireless scanning and a 4,800 mAh swappable battery rated for up to 1.5 hours untethered. The ELEGOO SCAN software offers guided setup, tracking assistance, multi-scan alignment and one-click mesh wrapping, optimization and color mapping, exporting STL, OBJ, PLY and ASC.

Elegoo’s post gives no numeric accuracy, resolution, weight or scan-range figures, no shipping dates and no detail on whether a turntable or markers are included. Specification sheets quoted by trade press cite accuracy up to 0.02 mm in blue-laser mode, which remains a manufacturer claim without independent testing.
