Laser, vat and build configurations

Neo450s offers short, half and full-height configurations of 50, 200 and 400 mm, all on a 450 × 450 mm platform. Its 2 W, 355 nm laser uses a variable 80–750 µm beam and separate High Detail/Standard Detail modes.

Material parameters and specification limits

The open resin system supports commercially available 355 nm SLA resins, subject to process development and material-specific parameters. Reported minimum features and layer range are different measurements from dimensional accuracy. Temperature stability, finishing and part geometry affect the final result.

Read this with the specifications

Model-specific embedded specifications in the current official Stratasys catalog were reviewed on 2026-10-16. Optional accessories, material-dependent layer settings and print-mode limits are identified separately. Printer mass excludes vat and resin; reduced-height vats are separate configurations.

A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
