Printing on existing dishes
Foodini 2.0 can measure the height of a user-supplied plate and store the result as a custom printing-surface value. Users can also enter and check that height manually.
Measurement limitations
Dark, reflective or patterned surfaces can interfere with laser detection. The support guide distinguishes an uncertain reading from an unreliable one and points users to camera adjustment or height calibration before retrying.

Model-specific support confirms Foodini 2.0. Dimensions from earlier Foodini brochures are not carried over.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
