Integrated deposition and repair
MX-Fab integrates its laser, chiller, purifier, vacuum pump and powder feeding into one system. DMT feedback controls deposition, while the MiXO workflow supports five-axis paths for making or repairing metal components.
MX-Fab 1 versus MX-Fab 3
The 500 × 600 × 385 mm figures are the MX-Fab 1 axis strokes, not the larger MX-Fab 3 specification. PCM Single and PCM Multi are optional modules, and the number of powder hoppers is configured with the supplier. Up to six channels enables composition changes but is not standard on every order.

The official table labels these dimensions X/Y/Z stroke, not usable additive build volume. Build is left unknown.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
