35 µm is the pixel pitch, not a guaranteed part tolerance. Layer-height array is the published minimum–maximum range and settings remain material-dependent.
Form Studio 1 uses an LFD engine with 28 LEDs and a 35 µm pixel grid. Its material range and optical system differ from Form 4; a smaller pixel pitch alone does not prove greater part accuracy.
The printer uses a V2 resin cartridge and PreForm preparation. Formlabs specifies a separate access envelope for installation. The current comparison lists no biocompatible-material support for this model.
Announced October 14, 2026. Orders opened that day, with worldwide shipping scheduled to begin November 16, 2026; this future date is not an accomplished shipment.

One base machine entry; Founders Edition colors and accessory packages are not separate printer models. LFD is an LED/LCD masked stereolithography process, not a scanning-laser process. Enclosure is explicitly described in the announcement; it is not an unconditional safety claim.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
