Model notes · 01

Print engine and material controls

The LFD engine combines an LED backlight, LCD masking and a flexible-film tank. Resin temperature, level and print forces are monitored. Published pixel size describes the imaging grid, not a general accuracy guarantee.

Model notes · 02

Workspace and tall-part handling

The access envelope is larger than the chassis. Formlabs says jobs taller than 190 mm require tank removal while removing the print; PreForm warns about this limit. Layer thickness and heating settings vary by material.

Read this with the specifications

Manufacturer-stated build envelope. Supports, orientation and part shrinkage reduce achievable part dimensions. Medical uses require the specified validated material workflow.

A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
