Geometry and monitoring

Its X/Y/Z strokes describe axis motion, while the specified workpieces are cylindrical envelopes. Thermal and lateral cameras monitor the work area, melt pool and working distance; powder-flow sensing and melt-pool feedback support process control. The pressure leak check and hopper level sensor are listed as options.

Axis travel and maximum workpiece envelopes are different quantities; neither is stored as a rectangular additive build volume.

A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
