Light-based bioprinting
LUMEN X patterns each layer with digital light projection. Its pixel pitch describes the projected image, while material chemistry and exposure settings determine the resulting construct.
Laboratory workflow
The system supports removable, autoclavable build platforms and supplied sterile vats. Users can operate it through the onboard touchscreen or a connected tablet or computer.

The current LUMEN X technical table gives a 68 × 38 × 100 mm build envelope and 35 µm projected pixel size. Earlier LUMEN X optical specifications are not substituted for this documented configuration.
A larger nominal envelope does not establish better print quality. Fit depends on the configuration, usable area, supports, and orientation.
