What happened

3D Systems reported on May 11 that ROE Dental Laboratory had purchased additional NextDent 300 printers for several locations. The supplier said the expansion would triple ROE’s jetted-denture production capacity.

The workflow prints base and tooth materials together to produce a monolithic denture. The announcement presents reduced manual work and higher throughput as reasons for expanding the fleet.

The capacity and performance claims come from the supplier’s release. They are not an independent comparison of patient outcomes or a replacement for clinical assessment.
