Residents move into Denmark’s 36-apartment printed student village

Skovsporet combines on-site concrete printing with conventional building work to deliver occupied student housing.

What happened

COBOD reported the completion of Skovsporet in Holstebro in September, with the first students moving in. The development contains 36 apartments across six buildings for affordable-housing organization NordVestBO.

3DCP Group used a COBOD BOD3 to print the structures on site. The project covers approximately 1,650 square meters and was designed by SAGA Space Architects with MS+.

COBOD reports that the total project stayed below Denmark’s subsidized-housing budget cap. Its short printing schedules describe the printing phase, not the time required to deliver fully fitted apartments. The occupied development offers evidence beyond a demonstration wall or a single prototype house.
